Baysox Benefit for Dillon Papier

The proceeds will benefit Type C research for THE NATIONAL NIEMANN-PICK FOUNDATION.

Enjoy a ballgame with friends and family on Sunday, May 18th at 2:05 PM at the Bowie Baysox Stadium and support the fight against Niemann-Pick Type C disease. Come early for a "Vintage Baseball Game" at 12:30 PM. Share in Dillon’s 6th birthday celebration while helping support the necessary research in finding a cure for this devastating and extremely rare disease that is always fatal. Dillon is unfortunately one of only 500 persons in the world to have this Type C recessive gene disease that will probably rob him of his sight, hearing, swallowing, motor skills, his mind, and then our most precious gift - life.

Dillon loves playing and watching the game of baseball so much that his first words in the morning are “Where are the umpire and catcher?” and “Are they sleeping or eating?” His parents are kept busy with Dillon’s obsession of refining his skills of hitting, bunting, catching, and his favorite - sliding.

Please be as generous as you can, time is his enemy. A cure must be found to save my precious fun-loving grandchild who has an uncanny sense of humor, infectious smile, and sweetness that touch all who meet him.
